Innovative Cross-linking Process: The "Preserved Network" Method

Classical cross-linking methods were manufactured in a way that created a rigid products, not suitable for natural facial movements.

TEOXANE has created a new manufacturing process called The Preserved Network Method to achieve facial dynamism:
- Modification degree 1.9 - 4.0 %
- Gel consisting of long HA chains stabilized by natural and mobile interactions supported by a low crosslinker rate
- BDDE = covalent and irreversible bonds
- Natural and mobile bonds
Dynamic Rheology Measurements: Stretch & Strength

The Dynamic Rheology concept includes two parameters taking real conditions into account

1) Stretch: Assessing gel malleability and adaptability in the non-linear viscoelastic region

2) Strength: Assessing structure resistance to compression and repeated small stress, like micromovements in the facial tissues
