Bilingual (English & French) Human Resources Business Partner

Our Parent Company, Richards Packaging, is looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner to support the execution of corporate HR initiatives across their Canadian companies. The HRBP will be the companies’ liaison driving HR programs, managing talent management strategies and employee relations. The HRBP will need to maintain an effective level of business literacy about each company they are supporting, including their culture and employee engagement.  

The successful applicant will:

  • Lead the recruitment process
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding
  • Company liaison working with leaders to ensure their teams wellness and performance in recruiting, retaining and developing their people
  • Manage employee relations issues and employee engagement initiatives
  • Provide HR guidance
  • Identify training needs and as needed facilitate

 

 

We are seeking a candidate with the following attributes:

  • Bilingual in French and English is required
  • Post Secondary education in Human Resources Management
  • CHRP designation, or working towards
  • 3+ years Human Resources experience preferably within the packaging, pharma and/or medical technology equipment sector
  • Strong working knowledge of employment standards and other regulatory legislation
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (including oral and written communication), exercising diplomacy and tact
  • Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Critical attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and travel
