Speed. Precision. Better Vision.

The ALLEGRETTO WAVE excimer laser was created with pure engineering principles that combine precision and performance with an attitude.

Built with pioneering wavefront-optimization and unique PerfectPulse Technology, this refractive laser platform aims to protect quality of vision while providing a new level of safety for physician and patient.

The ALLEGRETTO WAVE was designed based on an ideal that was once only an imagination: a system with shortened surgery times, innovative and reliable eyetracking and a clear ergonomic concept.

Comfort, Practicality and Ease-of-Use

WaveLight laser systems offer many features that support comfort, practicality and ease-of-use.

The integrated plume evacuator removes fumes and odors thus protecting the respiratory tracts of patient and surgeon.

Considering every aspect of the refractive procedure, the WaveLight laser systems are provided with a built-in slit lamp.
There is no need to move the patient into a different room in order to check the flap position, the interface, or to perform a flap re-lift.
A 100 W, ultra-bright xenon light source provides excellent illumination.

The uninterrupted power supply (UPS) delivers safe and reliable performance, even under bad environmental electrical conditions or in case the power supply collapses.

In order to maintain highest possible hygienic standards, all parts of the laser system that might be touched during surgery are fitted with sterile caps.

Light-Weight and Space-Saving

The small, space-saving design of WaveLight laser systems has already won numerous design awards.

Fitting through standard doorways, the systems can be accommodated even in the smallest operating rooms. Compared to other systems, WaveLight lasers are light-weight and also suitable for historic buildings.

Expensive architectural changes to the operating room are, in most cases, not needed, because of the lasers´ sealed beam path, which is just one of the reasons for the WaveLight systems´ tolerance towards humidity and temperature fluctuations.

Moreover, the ergonomically designed and state-of-the-art devices also have a reassuring impression on the patients and lead to a more relaxed pre-surgery atmosphere, in turn facilitating the surgeon’s work.
