How Many Treatment Modules Can Be Used With The M22?

 

The M22 is a multi-application, multi-technology platform with two treatment modules currently and future modules in development:

 

• Universal Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment module, with a wavelength

   range of 515 to 1200 nm, for treating vascular and pigmented lesions,

   permanent hair reduction and IPL skin treatments. This treatment head is

   supplied as standard equipment with the system.

• Multi-Spot Nd:YAG laser treatment module, with a wavelength of 1064 nm,

  for the treatment of vascular lesions. This treatment head may be

  purchased as an optional upgrade to the M22 system.

Are There Any Unique Power Or Electrical Requirements For Running The M22?

 

No. The M22 plugs into a standard outlet.

 

What Is The Weight And Dimensions Of The M22?

 

The table-top system weighs 40 kg (88 lbs) and measures 47 cm/18.5” tall, 44 cm/17.3” wide and 50.0 cm/19.9” deep.

 

Does A Table-Top System Mean I Have To Sacrifice Power?

 

No. The M22 runs faster and more powerfully than any other table-top system on the market.

 

What’s Required To Actually Transport The M22?

 

The M22 is completely portable. Simply drain the distilled water from the M22's cooling system and empty the reservoir. To ease maneuvering of the M22, disconnect the power cable and treatment head.

 

Will I Have To Change Treatment Heads Between IPL Procedures?

 

No. You can offer your patients photorejuvenation, permanent hair reduction, age spot reduction, vein erasure…all using the Universal IPL treatment module. Safe and effective for skin types I-V, you’ll be able to change filters in seconds instead of changing the whole hand piece. This saves you treatment time, storage space and money because it’s

not necessary to purchase multiple or replacement IPL heads.

Yes. OPT’s Multiple-Sequential Pulsing allows for cooling between pulses, to safely remove hair on darker skin, while reducing the chance of skin damage in vascular as well as pigmented lesion treatment.

 

What Is Included In The Simplicity Package Warranty?

 

The new M22 comes with two warranty options: Simplicity and Simplicity Premium. Whether you choose standard coverage or the upgraded version, these service warranties provide trouble-free, maintenance-free protection against costly interruptions of your IPL capability. Are There Any Upgrade Modules For The M22 Multi-Application Platform?

How Do I Change The ExpertFilter On My Universal IPL Treatment Head?

 

The M22 system provides a range of ExpertFilters with different cutoff wavelengths (515, 560, 590, 615, 640 and 695 nm), to customize treatment. The system software automatically recognizes which filter is currently installed in the treatment head. You can change the filter at any time. Refer to the Operating Manual for further details.
